Thanks for the warm welcome gents! Truth be told I am as retro as any of you, my last major upgrade was from 7sp to 8sp, and all that meant was taking the spacer off the rear wheel, putting an 8sp block on and adjusting the mechs! That was a good few years ago too.

and now your here.... you will restore the bike to original, then buy another with disc mounts, then about 2 others that you always wanted BITD... don't laugh just yet though :shock:

Err, no! When I post pics and specs of my other bikes you will realise why! The disc thing is a desire which I am sure we all get now and again, a passing fancy!
