If it was Aluminium for sure, my guess would be a 1997 E3. They were polished that year and came with a rigid fork as standard.

if it was steel, then a nickel P7 from the same year.

1998 saw the first E4s which came fitted with a Manitou fork as standard and the P7 was painted that year not nickel plated.

My money's on the E3.

E3 sounds about right... err now try finding one.. :shock: :?

I'm guessing popping down to the local farm to get some chickens teeth may prove more fruitful... They must have been a limited run?

There you go, Orange E3 from 1997.

They weren't classed as a limited edition, but like the E4 only 200 were made. You do see bikes from the Elite range come up occasionally.
