Helicopter tape for rims , is there such a thing?

Hello all.
I have recently purchased some pure white rims
And was wondering IF! There is such a thing as helicopter
Tape especially made for your rims to stop them getting chipped
And marked?
If these is would one know were i would purchase such a thing?

not come across it. the tape can stretch but I doubt it will strethc enough to lie flat on the rims without making slits in the tape.

I have/had white rims and never worried about them getting chipped.

It was originally developed by 3M to protect the leading edge of a helicopters rotor blade from minor damage.

If the rim is flattish and you use some heat then heli tape might do it. Otherwise I fear o2gf74 improbably correct.
