Thank you for the info. I just always assumed it was carbon! Looking at the valve cut out now though, fibre glass makes more sense.

I have just been informed that the HED disc is actually fibreglass with a black tinted resin and not carbon as stated. Apologies for being misleading. I just assumed it was carbon!
