"Heavy tools" LX groupset cheap...

Don't know anything about "Heavy Tools" bikes but has 1993/4 LX groupset and going for £15 at the mo!

S&M Bikes used the name 'Heavy Tools' on their BMX frames, I'm guessing there's some connection there?

EDIT: No, they didn't, I'm talking complete rubbish. Heavy Tools did make a fine BMX many years ago, though. (The S&M frame was called "Heavy As F**k" )

I am pretty sure I remember them making a full-susser around about the mid Nineties which was pretty well rated

Heavy tools had been an Austrian company "producing" bikes from arround the beginning from the 90's. Had some nice bikes on the start incl. some good full susser's

Heavy Tools did make a fine BMX many years ago, though.

I had one and I beg to differ - A Heavy Tools Ruler - basically a Standard Bykes STA copy. Not made very well but did look nice..
