Just recieved a headset off a member and while putting it away in the headset box i ended up unpacking some of my other headsets, mainly as i tend to loose track and forget what i have or haven't got  while out i decided to take a picture of some of the others i have amassed over time. Used to have a large CK collection, back when they were not high money, as used them on most of my bikes, but sadly sold a lot of them.

Nice collection of headsets!

I really like the patina on this King headset. The Southern California sun really baked it, the bearings are still smooth.

And this is one of the first 500 King headsets, as confirmed with King Cycle Group, an original 1976 headset that used the flat style bearing seal design, that Chris thought up whilst laying on a beach in Santa Barbara. Approximately, 500 of these were made using salvaged medical grade 9 bearings. The headset is the same age as me, kind of cool!

I’m getting my first Chris King headset this week. Two tone black gold can’t wait. All the way from USA. the dollar pound are quite good. Kings are very hard to buy I found.

Good God Mk1 - you do know that if you put that many CK items close together they can go critical?

It has got me wondering where some of my others are, thought they were all in the same box, obviously not though. I have realized i can make a Patriot version up with the parts though :)

And this is a credible risk if you put too much Ringle 3DV on one bike, particularly if it's a Klein....

...I was just riding along, and....
