Headset with maximum lower stack height

Thanks but already seen this post. This refers to a 2000 model year Principia Rex which I don't believe (after emailing Principia) has the same headset

As per the original post, if anybody can recommend a headset with maximum lower headset stack height be much appreciated. Cane creek S3 Plus 5 seems to come close but even this wouldn't have the lower stack height of the current setup

I have an option to buy a same model like the one in this topic.
Now I am a little anxious about the headset, did you manage to buy a headset that fits?

Unfortunately replacement headsets for this model year appear to be very rare and I've not managed to find a replacement

The frame is now hanging up in my attic (sob). This is a shame as it's still a very good frame (apart from the headset!)

If you're thinking of buying a Principia Rex of this vintage, I'd carefully check the headset condition
