Headset help (2013 still too modern for me...)

Hello everybody

I’ve tried searching a number of terms but can’t find the headset specs for a Yeti Big Top.

From the below can anyone with a slight bit of brains confirm what I’m looking for?

Semi-integrated?

Thanks in advance anyone!

Re:

What fork are you running? If it's a 1 1/8 straight steerer you should be fine with a ZS44 (zero stack) semi integrated headset cup top.and bottom. If the integrated cups are already fitted, you could just buy replacement bearings rather than a full headset.

If you want to run tapered forks, you can get ec44 bottom cup. This is an external cup (think traditional headset rather than a semi integrated, zero stack internal cup) so the bearing cup will sit outside of the frame, will be larger and as a result will be compatible with tapered forks (though you can get an ec44 cup that will also allow a straight 1 1/8 steerer too).

Hope this helps.

Thank chap, really appreciated.

Will be running some tapered 29er Fox 32s.

Is not my bike in the pic, that’s a stoke photo from a review.

Mine bare frame currently.

Re:

Yep, like I said I think the Hope tech sheet is as simple and easy to read as it can be. Just be careful there is only 1 mm difference between E & G. I would drop the forks out and double check with a rule or even better a vernier if you have one.

Edit: just re read your fist post. zs56 is exactly what you need. But can’t hurt to triple check.
