How would describe the final fit - tight, snug etc I am asking as i had similar probs with a headset and i filed around the collar and it fitted nicely but now i am wondering if it may have been slightly loose.
It feels pretty tight, it took a 1/2 dozen hits with the pipe and rubber mallet to seat it. I certainly can't move it with my hand gripped tightly round.
