headset advice

45mm is still gonna leave a lip. I know its only a small detail but well you know how ocd we get about things

just found a random bottom cup from a fsa pig h/set in my random bits box they come in at 51mm.

I know. I've a full fsa headset in black, but you are after gold right?

ideally yes and those pig's weigh a ton.

The version I have is an orbit or something like that. I've seen them in other colours, not sure about gold. I think the onza mongo headsets might be wide, but now sure how wide.

Buy a fork that isn't designed for the larger internal modern setup and bodged for older narrow steerer's ;-)

Or make a feature of it with a sticker or tinsel...


If they get that large its either a lot ofextrea cup metal, large bearings etc. So will be heavy. Maybe trials/downhill?
