Have you had a good look in your barn?

When you ride a Moulton Speedsix the hills become flat, the wind is always behind you, the components never wear out because they are made from Durilium, the gears change automatically by thought control, and you are irresistible to anyone to whom you wish to be irresistible.
In fact because they are targeted by international criminals rusty examples in extremely poor condition sell for a premium.

Or so a fellow Moultoneer tells me.
Well, there's got to be some rational explanation....

Blinkin 'eck! (or similar!) Started at 99p and now at over a grand - and 4 days + left!

Is there something about it that my poor old jaundiced eyes can't see?

The Balilla brake levers without hoods? The rusty steel cranks? The large worn TA chainring? :?

And possibly the rotted suspension rubbers?

Every hipster trainee architect wants one... ;)

Well, there was one rotting away in a neighbours garden until a year or two back when I told him someone might want it.

I doubt he got any more than 2 (rather small) figures for it though.

The Speedsix seems to be the Holy Grail for Moulton collectors, they always reach four figure prices.
I'd really like someone knowledgeable to explain the reason why they are so sought after.
Is it just that so few were built?
