I need to get some new cables and looking around these are pretty cheap and seem to have some good reviews. Does anyone have any personal experiance with them?
Yes, I fitted them to my modern and ran them with the full inner sleeve but the drag was too much and the rear mech never worked. This was mudlovers and sram X0/X9 set up.
I use Transfil Flyin Snakes on almost all my bikes with no problems. In fact I cannot remember the last time I had to fettle the cables on bikes fitted with them. Ten out of ten from moi.
I use the Mudlovers ones on my cross and winter road bikes - They're not as smooth or light-action as Dura-Ace but are really fit and forget. I get a full cross season out of them with the old Gore gaitors fitted.
