All finished - weighs in at 9.9 kg so I don't win Tel's competition for the lightest 531 build but that was never going to be.
The full 6208 Groupset is now in place, including original gum brake hoods and even brake blocks! This is 600EX SIS just before Ultegra, which I reckon matches the age of the frame pretty nicely. Sedisport chain, Alfredo Binda straps, 1985 Rolls and the Cinelli modern Giro d'Italia Bars and 1A stem complete the build. Wheels are NOS Mavic MA2 on the 6208 hubs fitted with Veloflex Master amber walls.
Apparently the frame belonged to a well know timetrialist from the Manchester area at the time, anyone recognise it?
