Hanging bikes for display?

Re: Hanging bikes?

Depends if it’s for storage or display.

I’ve got a Gear-up wooden one in one our rooms (the one that mounts between floor and ceiling) with a single bike on it, will take two.

If it’s just for storage, any of the “wheel hook” ones will suffice, though I’d avoid the ones where the hook flops down as you have to pull the hook put to put the bike up, OK if you’ve just one, but a pain if you have a wall full 300mm apart.

I like that pedal holder type. Holds the bike against the wall at a jaunty angle, and presents it best for looking at.

I think the bike hangers from Fluoshop (on etsy) are very good looking.

Liking the minimal look, but not sure I’ve got that much trust in plastic raw plugs with the leverage it would be putting on them, slightest droop and your bike could start to slide off.

I have two bikes hanging in my living room for over three years now. No issues. It is quite a solid construction.

This place is like our second home, this cafe is pretty famous for all manner of ludicrous porn hanging off the walls for your inspiration, I was training over there in November last year and they had three yetis that looked fresh from riding down mammoth mountain and some typically ostentatious Kleins in the stairways
