Carp like that is what stopped me from making fine furniture.....it's what people wanted.....but not what i was prepared to make!
As for they're claim to it being reclaimed timber....it looks more like new ungraded scaffold boards which you can buy for around £1 metre...
Bandwagon have a go wood butchers....grrrr

Genuinely like this stuff. No 'fine' furniture in our house. Love the old 'reclaimed' paint factory trolley coffee table in my man cave for instance. Don't give a shite what any judgemental wanker may think but entertaining to read.

If you look at my profile you'll see that I have my occupation down as "Grumpy old man" and my likes/interests as "MTBs, rock-climbing, rugby, moaning", but as I get older moaning has taken priority over the rest......

I think there's a fair difference to be made between genuinely upcycled furniture that is practical and serves it purpose, and then a huge monstrosity that is neither practical or pretty. Also, I oppose the idea that this is a bike stand, it's not, it's a deformed TV table with a couple of IKEA looking box shelves on the side that some nutter decided to use as a tribunal for a bicycle.

All for DIY, reclaimed stuff, etc... if it's cheap and durable, not 400 pounds and impractical

I kid you not that probably the majority of my furniture and furnishings that I've created and produced over 30 odd years has been from recycled, reclaimed,industrial waste,skip finds anything but new....all long before the fashionable tag line sales spiel of "eco", "carbon neutral" upcycled etc...all done simply as a matter of common sense and respect for mother earth's natural resources! And when I see people late to the party ripping off these values it makes me sad!
