Hand stitched leather seat

So,

Being inspired by those of you who stitched your own leather bar grips I have decided I am going to do the same on my latest build (underway at the minute).

However, I'd also like to attempt a seat. Has anyone done this? Or do you think I would be biting off more than I can chew?

I just thought it would look nice to have the same leather and stitching pattern on both bars and saddle.

I did have a go, but I no longer have the saddle! I just recovered a pretty tired saddle with leather kind of like this:

I guess you could use a decorative stitch on the leather and then cover the saddle.
