Lovely! Bet the frame was made in Worksop ?

Don't the embossed seatstays mark this out as a later frame made in the Nottingham lightweight unit? The embossed stays were from the bikes/frames that had 3 main tubes, plus sometimes the fork in 531 such as Quadra, Triathlon, Ritm, Elix and Strada. The complete 531 frames had plain seatstays.

Are you referring specifically to race frames? The Randonneur had embossed stay caps and that was full 531.

Raliegh frames of that era always look 'right' to me. Very nice bike.
