Wow that's amazing, without realising that was off Ebay roll I was going to offer him £474.99 for it too. My powers of valuation must be spot on. I mean taking in to account it's now had another owner on the Log Book these things devalue.

It was only that cheap because the seller was putting on a song-and-dance about posting it. I thought I was going to sail in with an irresponsibly big bid to snatch it before I googled the address and realised an 8hr drive was involved, which dented my enthusiasm quite a lot. I considered e-mailing the seller to highlight that I've sent no end of bikes through Parcelforce 48 for less than £15, but she seemed so adamant I didn't bother.

So is nobody going to give £1.2k to this honest-sounding guy?

My favourite part of this thread is where the seller refused to put a price on it, and would only go as far as saying that it would go for less than £5k!
