A big thank you to Tim for organising the ride
I'm hoping to be fully recovered by Christmas !
Seriously though its surprising how 20 years between rides catches up with you! Thoroughly enjoyed the ride, count me in for the next one.
Footnote: Always check that the brake levers are not reversed on a 'new' bike. I'm blaming that on my erm.........'instability' on a couple of occasions.
Was a good laugh, first ride in a few months since my boy was born so good to get out and about. Nice to put some faces to names as well.
Loved how busy the car park was but I heard the unmistakeable screech of some canti brakes in the wet and was immediately drawn to the gathering of retrobikers
Cheers tiboltrider for organising it, good work. Now to work on some fitness...
Thanks for the welcome today, and for putting the ride together to start with - it made a nice change to ride in a group like that. I can't believe how much Haldon has changed / developed since I rode there last!
For some of the ride, I had my little Pentax W60 clamped to the stem, running it's intervalometer at a 12 second interval, just shooting whatever was there in front of it at the time ... and as you'd expect, at least 90% of the shots are of a blurry brown background
Of what remains ... this is about all I got.
No post processing, other than to resize them.
Some kinda work in spite of themselves (ok, maybe work ... )
