Bought one of these on ebay after a quick bit of research. All I managed to find out was that its made from Scandium and weighs in at 1.4 kg

No idea about any other qualities it may posess, but hopefully it will eventually form the basis for a fast, lightweight xc speed machine.

Any info to share? Or cautionary tales of woe, anything welcome!

All I know about scandium is from the Rock Lobster frames and it is pretty much recommended as a thrash it race frame and not for the long haul riding wise.

That'll do nicely, though due to budgetary constraints I doubt it'll be as lightweight as I'd intended. Mmm blue anodizing and pace forks to go on...

Its finally arrived, unbelievably light, lighter than my pace forks even, but it does feel fragile. Nice, simple design, cant wait to get started, beginning with some lightweight wheels

Guess is the house brand of a bike shop in Harrow. They do nice stuff. I cannot remember the name of the shop at present...senior moment. :?

Amazing, its exactly the same frame (near enough) as the rocklobster, down to the tapered seat tube even

According to the kitchen scale (in grams)...

The pace forks going on it are heavier  cant wait for all the various parts to arrive, but sadly funds wont allow for an ultralight build, but definately lighter than my full susser

You've got yourself a nice frame there. I've had one for just over a year and its been a treat to ride. Although its a pointy race style frame i take it into the peaks and its a rocket ship. There is a fair bit of flex on the rear but thats when taking it to the extream (hence the large rotors). Its done 500 miles, would of cleaned it for the photos but i'm off out on it.
