Old School Hero
For sale here is my GT Zaskar Team 2006. Price £400, I'm based in Tring, Hertfordshire (HP23)
Size about 19", will get some accurate measurements if requested. Nice lightweight retro feel, but with modern components. Bought the GT here a year or two ago, I bought some BlackSpire chainrings + ano bolts, Hope bash ring, Hope seat collar, new front mech, recabled both mechs iirc, new grips, fiddled around a bit, but haven't actually ridden it far! Obviously had a bit of love over the years, it's got:
Fox 32 shocks, with auto-lockout feature
American Classic hubs, Stans Notubes rims
Conti Race King tyres
Hope hydro discs and levers (very nice)
Trutativ carbon risers (cut quite narrow)
XTR shifters + rear mech
XT front mech
2x9 drivetrain currently
I do have a seat for it in the shed, an ultra lite Flyte style thing, but a bolt sheared in the ritchey post it originally had, so it's just got a spare post in there for now. There are some small scratches (lower leg of front fork and crank arm) and cable rub here and there, but nothing serious and no dents or dinks. Rides and climbs almost exactly like my old 96 Zaskar + XTR + SID used to. But stops a lot better.
Very light, will try to find something to weigh it, as I reckon it's in the 24lbs region. Any questions just give me a shout, only selling to fund a modern full-sus, as I'm less mountain goat now and more honey monster
Cheers,
Jim
