sounds like serial number has been ground off, stolen at some point?

The seller sent me some pics of the rear dropouts and there doesn't seem to have been any tampering - just no frame number. Bit of a mystery, but wouldn't be the first time.

did the dropouts size it as 16" as it looks more like 18" from the pics but the description says it has 16 stamped on dropout.

I bought this bike and can confirm it says 16 on the dropout aswell as 6061.

They seem shorter than they did back in the old days
