One issue I had was using the recommended 122mm bottom bracket axle width for the M730 XT chainset. The non drive side crank only had a 3 - 4 mm gap between the chainstay.

After a bit of research and advice from fellow RB members I opted for a new old stock 127mm axle version. This has sorted the issue nicely.

So, she’s finished! Very happy with the shiny, purple and neon finish. Not for everyone, but she’s a real eye catcher. I’ve built this from a frame upwards and have sourced parts from all over to get the build finished.

The close up shot of the cockpit with purple bars, grips and levers HURTS MY EYES! Not sure if it's a good hurt or a bad hurt!!!

Lovely build with nice little touches vs. catalogue spec builds. Had x2 Zaskars back in the 90s and loved them.

I love it... I think the purple bars are bold but I think that it’s nothing we wouldn’t have done bitd so it works for me

I don’t mind the bling look so long as I have the standard bits to revert back to should I get nauseous of it...
