GT ZASKAR L.E. FULL M900 XTR

those chainrings are not XTR, sorry but the outer looks like LX or lower.

XTR have shifting pins, a sort of darker colour and are very thick.

well spoted . chainset is xtr . the chainrings are very good condition shimano DEORE DX i think thats higher than LX ? The original chainrings i still have but these are much better condition & just as light

I think these are XTR Chainrings..

Just for reference when looking..

I'm so glad this isn't a 18" or i'd be considering requesting a swap..

not quite, close but no cigar, XTR are machined: and are a pewter colour

LIKE I SAY I HAVE THE XTR CHAINRINGS SO I DO KNOW WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. BUT THERE NOT IN GREAT CONDITION . THEY ARE IN POOR CONDITION LIKE THE ONES IN THE TOP PIC

OK!

BUT ITS TO EDUcate the masses too, original XTR rings are probably rarer than intact XTR crank decals.

its not the lightness that counts, its the quality, almost like finding an Alpina B5 on 15" rims!

yes and they are bendy and a bit soft

*edit

Your DX ones also require spacers between the crank arms and the outer rings as they are much thinner than the XTR originals.

I say all this as I spent the morning cleaning up an M730 XT chainset for my own Zaskar
