I’m inclined to say that your frame is an earlier model due the rear brake cable stay on the seat tube. That is for cantilevers, implying that the frame is mid 90’s. What the serial number on the dropout?

97 was the last year having the canti stop on the side.

97 LE didn’t have it.

Yellow was a euro only colour and whilst it doesn’t seem to gather much lust from folk it’s quite rare as a mid year colour.

Says it’s a 04 97 bud so it’s stamped. Think the yellow was a ltd edition in 97

Wasn’t ltd edition. Was a mid year release.
