Originally bought this new in 1997 mail order on cheque spread sold it on to a mate for full sus upgrade in a Mount Vision. Well after a few beers my mate pulls my old zaskar out of his cellar and gives it me
Needs a bit of work but let’s go!

Looks like mine is a 27mm seatpost. Managed to find a Thomson post, clamp and stem knocking about in my stuff. And finally I have something worthy of my spinergys

I’m inclined to say that your frame is an earlier model due the rear brake cable stay on the seat tube. That is for cantilevers, implying that the frame is mid 90’s. What the serial number on the dropout?

My 1997 Zaskar with the same cable guide!

...and if you look in the 1997 catalogue the zaskar (but not the LE) and the avalanche both have the cantilever cable guide despite the v-brakes fitted
