GT with no name

The bike I though it was (i.e. the one my mate had) was an - Apollo Vesuvius - a quick google reveals no pics, but someone does mention a two toned paint job  Asked my mate but he says the top tube did not protrude past the seatpost!

Sorry not much use.

Also confused as there seem to be two threads on the same subject

Enjoy it.

Crap picture but its an Apollo Vesuvius. Looks like top tube stops at seatpost.

Contact Simplon! They`ll tell ya. Maybe I can take a foto sometime.

That frame looks quality made, not like that Apollos (the first Apollo is no Atomic? Sorry we have Atomic Bikes here and they have ecactly the same lettering)

please forgive my bad english
and my newbieness :)

This one is driving me up the wall, I think the key might be the slightly long overhang on the top tube after the seat tube.

I've seen one like that one here that everyone thought was a GT originally.

Cheers we have a winner !
Now you look at it, it's obvious. Headtube too long for a GT of that size. Lugged etc.
