Few marks that will get worked on,paint coming up good after some polishing up.



Set of specialized ground controls on
seat stem and cranks swapped out
Up and running for a test run,will stick a set of amber walls on it next to see how it looks

Love this era of GTs. It’s great when the you get a complete original bike that looks like it does in the first photo and a dollop of TLC transforms it to the third photo. That’s my favourite sort of buy/build.

What’s the saddle you’ve put on? It looks a lot like the GT riveted ones? I’ve got a Karakoram inbound which needs a saddle and am looking out for something just like that.

Saddle was off ebay
Still available by the looks of it.
Closest I could find at the time to the gt style.

Thanks, have just bought one. May even be able to graft a cheeky GT logo on to the nose of it like the original Viscount ones.

Working on it and seems to be shining up well
