GT STS XCR 1000 I DRIVE FRAME PLATE/BUNG/COVER

I have recently purchased a 1999 STS XCR 1000 I Drive and the GT Plastic plate is missing from the front triangle (on the underside of the down tube) leaving a big hole
Has anyone got one or any idea of what could fit in there instead?
