I’d agree that it’s a STS2

STS DH didn’t have the Seatpost at the rear of the seattube like the STS1/2

STS 1 would have a super deluxe rather than coupe.

Still a nice frame just trying to help ID it

It could also be a 99 STS 1...

Afraid it can’t as it’s stamped as 97 in the frame number.

Ahh OK must be a 97 sts2 then you guys seem to know more than me...either way it's worth £550 posted that's for sure it's in brilliant condition!

Also if you check the colour of the 97 STS2 decals it matches the seattube decal.

As Tim says it’s a 97 for sure due to stamp.

98 onwards they changed to the ones without the polished alloy luggy things

Also the DH had a DH stamp after the serial number like pictured here

The DH was sold in S/M/L which is next to the DH stamp

The STS1 and 2 were sold in 16 /18/20 hence the stamp on yours

Sadly there is a full STS-1 with the upgraded bearing kit and top spec on here that has failed to sell at £950 for sometime, not here to argue re price so if you decide to reduce by quite a bit, let me know as I’d like a 16” spare for mine, ended up with a near unused 14” one by mistake
