For sale here is a GT STS-2 thermoplastic frame in size 19".
Model year 1997 (build in '96 according to serial number).
Hard to let it go, but need $$ and a bit too big for me anyway ..
Very good condition, no crack (as far as I can see).
Could do with some fresh stickers (easily available from the bay or from Gil I guess ..) and a new rear mech hanger (the original one as been replaced by Goltec one, which is so soft that I won't be surprised if it bends just by shifting the speeds !!)
The frame as been fully rebuilded with fresh grease, there's no play in the suspension and the bushings are in quite good condition.
Rockshox Coupe Deluxe rear shock as been serviced (new oil, nitrogen re-charged), but I can't say if everything will hold together under hard use as I was not able to replace some of the seals (the main seal head's seal for exemple is obviously not available anymore ..). But the shock was not leaking oil, so I'm pretty confident. At least now it works, with an efficient rebound setting (that also affect damping, but that's the way this shock works ..), which was not the case before the service !
