This week I have been mostly jiggling! :xmas-big-grin:
Time for change at the looney bin. 2 carbon Judy's and an STS frame going out, new smaller STS, 2 Judy DHO's and a Heckler coming in! Yeehaa.
There was this weenie STS in California. And it was love at first sight.
"You have to have this..." my head said. "Sell everything and no more nights out!!" -So I did.
<click click click>
3 Days later this turns up.
There was a resealable bag taped to the underside of the chainstay. In there was an owners manual, front mech and a Fox air shock. Amazing.
I strapped it onto the outside of my rucksack and rode up the shop to get a headset fitted that I had sat waiting on a shelf. In and out in half an hour, leaving the staff drooling.
Another couple of hours was spent in the garage after that fitting the forks, front mech, stem, saddle, handlebar, shifters, a rear brake mock up, Facebooking and drinking beer which got it to this stage:
And that is where I'm at, at end of play today.
Have been onto Gil M. He's got decals for the forks on standby (Because those are really scuffed) and a front wheel is on the way. Just need to find a rear wheel and decide on brakes. :xmas-cool:
