Gt stem Id

I won this stem for 99p the other day and it has just arrived. My intention is to respray it and try to recreate the Inferno paint scheme on the 91 Karakoram which I'm rebuilding.

Anyway now it has arrived I;m wondering what it is from, I thought the early 90's Gt stems had a round profile like the one on my 90 Karakoram, this stem has a very flattened profile and has 2 embossed Gt logos on the end cap which are opposite ways up.

Is it maybe a fixed version of the flip flop used on lower end bikes?

Looks exactly the same as the one on my '93 Tequesta.

Not the greatest pictures, but theyare all I had on file.

In the catalogue they say it's a flip-flop, but I think that refers to the ahead version not the quil version.
