What size is the seat post and is it for sale? Skewers?

Dave, I was going to used it on my next (non retro) frame but I'm not precious about it. If I sell it I'd need enough to buy a decent replacement. It's 25.4 with a 26.8 shim.

The bike is great and it's sad having put so much time into it to see it coming apart but I wanted a bike I could ride and enjoy rather than one that looks nice and has to be endured during a ride. This kind of bike was fine when I was 15 but I guess things have just pregressed too far over the years for me to go back :roll:

Yep very true. I keep thinking about getting a newer one but I'm still stuck in the 90's and the moment. My Mrs thinks its my midlife crisis coming early at 31. Just building a 1990 Reflex TWX at the moment. I bought it on here from mrlee. Just need some mechs and a chainset now but want it all LX M550.
I'll put a feed up when I start putting it together.
