LGF what forks are they please?

They were sold from a bike shop in Peterborough in the early 2000's, disc/ rim brake with a steel steerer

That Pantera looks the dogs, in two minds whether to keep the DX brakes now....

I know the bike didn't originally come with them, but I think they're a bit different than the norm, plus they're quite rare now. Might be hard to find another set if you did get rid

Looking like a good build/project
Possible idea on the frame decals n brakes,
once uve polished the frame up a set of neon yellow Raceline maguras and get the style of decals u said about with the gt bit tie in to the brakes colours

That’s not a bad idea, definitely going to try and get some colour coding going on throughout. It came with the yellow Sachs power grip gripshift, thinking of maybe keeping them as part of the colour scheme now.
