GT Palomar rear derailleur

I've just pulled my old GT Palomar out of the garage, been in there for about 20 years. I've just remembered the reason I put it in the garage was because I mangled the rear derailleur and forgot all about it. What derailleurs are compatible with this without changing the shifters? I've got my eye on a couple of LX M560 but wanted to make sure it would work.

just about any older derailleur from shimano will do, (2010 backwards) fit a nine speed chain at the same time and you'll have no further issues
