Hmmmmm... 280 mile round trip that would be approx 5 hrs total driving time, thats travelling at a constant speed of 70mph + considering traffic...

Will have to consult her indoors and count pennies for petrol???

i'm going to back down to a maybe too - its a fair trek but i'm sure its worth it. wont know untill very near the day if i will be able to put that much time aside for a ride. will keep an eye on the thread though.

IF my RTS is built and someone is happy to take it over (pickle, longun??) and someone is also happy to ride it knowing a, it was built by me and b, the bottom bracket shell has been repaired then my bike is available for a non gt owner to use.

I'd like as many of you as poss to attend to make this meet worthwhile, so would the Sherwood Pines be a better location?

I'm good for early August at either Cannock or Sherwood Pines.

Sherwood is 230 miles all round

Cannock is 150 miles

Depending on the date, I could make a weekend of it but rather it be later than sooner as want to get up for Dr S big bash? :?

Both are 250-300 mile round trips for me. (London).
