Hi there everyone,

I'm new here, and just checking in. I'm from Holland and in 1997 I bought my dream bike. A GT LTS-1
Last year I completely stripped the bike and gave the bike a full restauration.
After a lot of cleaning and buying new parts the bike was a GT LTS-team.

Just new 1997:

Was the trick ti swing a feature from early models only?

Nice LTS :D

The ti top link was on the 96 and earlier frames (although I forget if it featured on ALL frames).

What's the story with the LTS tandem

As far as I know was it on the 96 LTS and they changed it, because the titanium flexed too much. That's why the rest, (except the cheaper versions) used a stright aluminum link.
The 'cheaper' models used a bended aluminum link.

Those Spengle wheels look great. I alson have a set of spin wheels, but with a bend in the rim (from riding stairs) and the rims a quite worn.
Another friend of mine has got a Nicolai and also had Spengle wheels, but he broke the front wheel after a jump.

This is going to be a nice topic.
