Nothing wrong with suspension as I got them on one's of my bikes. It's just this model of gt originally came with rigid forks.

Ah, I thought there might be known probs with that model /type of fork.

I have them on a BSO beater.

They are nice bikes. I got one myself. I think if I changed the forks it would be for retro suspension one's. I didn't know there were problems with the rigid forks though.
