What an incredible machine!!!!!!!!!! I love it. Are the parts original? I ask that, because I have a similar frame, but have no idea about the groupset and other parts. I contacted GT, but they were not able to give me any info.
What wheel are that? I so much like the understated look.

@Senri
GT don't sell the Edge as full build up bikes (i think) only as frameset, you can find some old catalogs in german here http://www.mtb-kataloge.de/html/gt.html
in 1994-98 the Edge Steel was sold as a complete bike or offered as a frame set in GT's Tech Shop Program.
The Edge was handbuilt Fillet Brazed Steel from the GT Tech Shop in Longmont, CO. There was also an Edge Aluminum 6061 complete bike and frame from 1994-98 with the frame built at GT in So. Cal. There was an Edge Ti built on GT's jigs at Sandvik and offered from 1994-98, it was only sold as a complete bike in the 1994 and 1998 model years and as a frame set 1994-98. I have three Edge steel bikes. Serial number 5 from 1994, a 1997 and a 1999 US Nat'l Team. My most heavily ridden bike is a GT Edge Ti. The steel frame is a great ride!
I have a steel one from 1997 from the US national team (#13 :twisted: ). I am still unsure how I want to build it up, but I am surely looking forward in riding it!

I have a steel one from the 1999 from the US National Team (#6 ). I think I'm going with a DA 9 on mine unless a fresh DA 10 group happens to drop from the sky within couple days. Mine is TIG welded not fillet brazed.
@ Senri yours is fillet brazed correct?
There is also a 60cm 97 listed in white on ebay.com at the moment. I know the seller from California.

Yep, mine is fillet brazed and the paint scheme is just a bit different from yours. It was found in Belgium and the rumour is that it has been in the Tour the France, although I doubt that. I was thinking about DA, but might switch to someting completely different for once, like Sachs New Success orso.
I am looking for a fork though, the Carbon one, but they are really hard to find!
