GT bike info & ?s

Hi. New here. Found out I grew up 6 miles from GT's ware house in surf city,HB. I'd like another 1990s GT, or Kona. Can somebody tell me the main differences between them. All the best.

Basically the Xizang le was top of the line (titanium hard tail frameset)

Also it depends what you want to know, GT had bikes form entry level up to high end in steel, aluminium or titanium as well as thermoplastic.
There was the Tech shop stuff that was made (mostly) in house in the US, thats psyclone, zaskar, xizang as well as RTS/LTS 1,2,team.
Then you had nice tawanese made frames that were depending on year steel or aluminium like bravado's and avalanches, karakorums. Then a slew of nice bikes like richter, pantera, timberland...etc etc.
As per ever manufacturer, they changed tubesets and groupsets and parts to hit pricepints.
There are a lot of models too much to easily explain.

Kona's are shiter but ride much much nicer than GT.

The rts and lts team and 1 models were made in the USA using 6061 aluminium, as was the Zaskar and Zaskar LE.
The Xizang was Also USA made (apart from a few early 1990 frames)
The physclone was made in the USA as well

All the others were Made in Asia (Taiwan)
