Grubb Perfection Headset

Old School Hero
Recently acquired a 1950/1 F H Grubb Perfection which will now become my new restoration project. The attached photo shows the original (assumed) headset from this machine. It is of superb quality - the nuts are 10 sided and it is machined beautifully. But - I can find nothing on it to identify it. The only other 10 sided nut type I have seen was from T A Specialities - but it was not this quality. Can anyone identify please ?

Re:

Did cross my mind, but I have examples by T D Cross - a 'Continental S' and an 'Italia'. Both are of more recent manufacture and of very different quality. However, I will check for catalogues from the time period, see if I can find this one.

It appears that this certainly is a T D Cross set. It is a 'Continental S' and top of their rage in the day.
Question answered. Thankyou !

Correction !
Having now been able to make a direct comparison, it would seem that this headset was actually produced by Gnutti - there are a number of differences between this and the TDC Continental S headset.
