Interesting and a Health and safety nightmare, but perhaps that is part of what killed our industry. Impressed with the guy doing the hub bearings, what was it eight thousand hubs per day, could Raleigh sell 4000 bikes a day now or even in a year?
Now what we need to see as a comparison is how modern bikes are made, anyone have any links ?
A lot of them did look like mind-numbingly boring jobs - especially the BB guy!
Also several people had bandaged wrists - a sure sign of RSI from repetitive work.
