I’ll look into it. Ideally my ideal would be an IF, Soullcraft Plowboy, etc. there’s something really minimalist about them…

I rode one of these right up until I slipped off on wet flagstones and broke my hand. After that I re-donated it to my community bike workshop (the Langster was absolutely fine, I just had negative associations!)

Now I'm commuting on this lovely thing and I couldn't be happier everything but the frame replaced by my own fair hand (not through choice, original components were all goosed!)

Swapped my Genesis IO frame for a recently repaired ti inbred.
Managed to tweek some 27.5 boost mavic wheels to fit, 2.1 max tyre size in the back!
On the lookout for a carbon fork for it.

GRANNYGRINDER Liking both of your builds, is that a modded XTR 960 chainset and what chainring size are you using?

Yeah it's an M960 that I attacked with the grinder.
28 on the front 13 on the back.... Plenty chain wrap

*Nice that you were able to get the tension required in the "up" position. I could never get mine to fit that way.

its a pashley guvnor with a charge stem, DMR pedals, bars off a liv flourish, a B67, and a maneville caddie rack. its blue, which i guess means it was a special order, and it cost me less than the rack and pedals retail for. hated it when i got it, but i'm starting to like it now, despite being (or perhaps because it is) an absolute tank.
