It's a 96 karakoram, planning on using rigid forks. I commute on a fixed gear at the moment, but it's a road bike with track ends so much simpler that with a MTB! Not yet decided whether I'll be going ebb or just run a square tapered BB and tensioner, or even getting a frame builder to change the drop outs. Either of the first two would obviously narrow my options. I'm in York, it's pretty flat.

Have settled on a EBB and will need hollowtech 2 cranks. Struggling to find anything that won't look massively out of place. Open to recommendations for cranksets/cranks (preferably not too thicc) and chainring. EBB is pricey so would rather not spend £££ on drivetrain

Last time I built old Pahoehoe up, he was SS. That was at tail end of 2014. Now built up in cruiser, 1x9 vibe... It was lots of fun like this though... Absolute winter slugger. Those Beaver tyres were ace.

That looks a great setup. How are you liking it? Good? Bad?
I was looking at a 27.5 KM a while back as much more my size than the 29'er
