I very nearly started thinking about my Courier build and sticking a drop bar on it but decided that already having a disc wheel cover on the back would receive some Tomac wannabe comments and it ain't no Tomac build!!

Never mind worrying about what others think just do what makes you happy ;) ..

Now with added front bounce, this is my "Go To" bike for the local trails. ]
Looks nice, what gearing are you running?

32:21, changed it from 32:18 when I went from 26" wheels to 29".

Spins out quite easily on the road (too easily really), but it spends more time on dirt than tarmac and I can just about manage the hills around here with that gearing.

The Rig has Evolved

The Gary Fisher has evolved a little for this summer, the commuter needed wheels urgently so swopped them over from the singlespeed, then had yearning to ride it, so quick look in ebay turned up a pair of cheapy wheels, WTB rims on blue anno hubs with Geax tyres (which I like) normal mid range OEM stuff but suits me.Also had swopped the seatpost and saddle for a Spoon which seem to suit me and put the Ragley risers with a Deda stem, all a little more upright and wider. Used the Geax tyres for the first ride and although not as cool as the Fast Track Prototypes probably are better for general riding.

Pleased with the tweaks although the old wrists are feeling it a bit now, may have to start thinking about front suspension again....going 29er has delayed the inevitable for a bit anyway!

A couple of pics from the weekend....all colour coordination has gone right out the window

The Fisher looks great with rigid forks and who cares about colour coordination as it's all about the ride ;) ..
