Gran sport strada chainset - pedal choices

Hi could anyone please advise if this chainset limits my choice of pedals and how?

I am new to all this and amazed how much campagnolo pedals are selling for on eBay. Does anyone have any buying advice? Perhaps a bike jumble might be a better idea?

No limits really as long as it's not a french thread.........campag pedals can go for silly prices are you after vintage pedals for toe clips and straps?

For new buy MKS.......best bang per buck.

For used buy campag lookalikes, my favourite is Kyokuto Pro-Ace but there are a lot of cheaper lookalikes from Japland

Not very likely scenario but there are some pedals that measure 1/2 inch rather than 9/16th.

I'm not sure of the age if the chainset - how do I tell?

Look for a date code on the back of the crank, likely a number inside of a diamond or circle
