Grafton/Topline, the eternal question...

Hi All,

I know it exists here and elsewhere some threads about that but it can be cool to have some other opinions. A friend sold me, according to him, a "Topline" cranks but after some searches I wonder if it's not more a Grafton Speedsticks. Round ball at the end, spider with a screw... Can you confirm it ? Also if it's well Speedsticks can you confirm 1991 for date release (so too soon for my RTS build...) ?

Thanks for your clarification.

toplines have a rivet, graftons have a bolt

so.....

graftons! (prob 91)

Thanks nporternz for your input. That's what I thought but it's always cool to have some other opinions...

Re:

Just to confuse things I think there were 2 versions of toplines. The normal ones with a bolt and the SL's with the rivet. Personally I just kind of class them all as the same thing, topline/grafton.

PS. should you decide not to use them I could be interested for my Dogs Bolx build. I've had a few pairs over the years but sold them all off a couple of years back.

Re:

topline did do 2 models - the sl had even more material taken out of the spider

but both were held together with a rivet

but yeah grafton/topline - made by same people in factory so no difference really!
