grabbed this today a bargain me thinks especially as its my first project let me know what you think

would have preferred the grey with fluoro forks but cant grumble at that price,any idea on what year it is?

pretty sure white was the year before Zolatone so that would make it 1989

Looks like an interesting project. What's the plan with the forks?

I have one the same, or did have until I painted it, mine is a 1990 and it was originally pale grey with flouro orange forks, stem and bars. It should have had rigid steel forks and will probably be better with them as the frame won't be suspension corrected, so it might feel a little odd with a higher front end.

1989 as has been said. Triple S in Bingley do a grey powder coat that's a very good match. Shouldn't be too hard to find some matching forks. The one's on it don't turn up much so 'might' be worth selling on to the right buyer.

The Syncros bar is on my bike, I replaced the original flouro orange Marin bar and stem about 3 months after I bought it in 1990. I still have the original bar and stem in a box.
