Yes, I'm on the look out for the Gore originals for some V's of mine, the newer Sram equivalent seems like a watered down version to me. One of my Super V's has had "Gore ride ons" since new, 1995 I've never had to adjust them.
The jagwire logo on the cables can be removed carefully by rubbing down with either a blade or emery, then polish it back up to gloss. This gives you a plain cable to suit the period.
